INTRODUCTION

The main purpose of this program is to provide an understanding on how Human Resource Department and Managers use Employment law to deal with underperformance and maintain discipline at the workforce.

This program also aimed to enable delegates to have a holistic understanding of current employment laws, from drafting employment contracts to the proper method of terminating an employee whilst mitigating being taken to the Industrial Courts.

At the end of this programme, participants should be able to:

  • Getting to know the Industrial Court Procedure and Practice
  • Understanding the terms in Employment Contract
  • Make Employers know of their rights under the law, to avoid unnecessary and costly litigation
  • Having a comprehensive understanding of Employee Rights
  • Understand the wide spectrum of Employee Misconduct
  • Understand the process of Termination of Employment
  • Get to know the changes and development of employment law in Malaysia
  • Learn what are the proper procedures to terminate an employee
  • Able to draft Warning/Show Cause/ Charges letters at the pertinent stages
