WAREHOUSE SAFETY & MANUAL HANDLING, 9-10 February 2026_Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

INTRODUCTION

Warehouse hazards are not uncommon. More and more safetyand health issues are emerging from warehouses than previously before. The scenario on hazards is getting totally different. This is mainly due to the fast-paced and busy environment of some warehouses. Mass production has tremendously created more unique and specific hazards in the warehouses. Fire is one of the major risks due to the storage of flammable materials.

Accidents in a warehouse can also injure the workers, damage equipment, and ruin goods. It is a potential for multiple losses, in particular, forklift material handling and manual handling by workers as this seems to be one of the most common causes of injuries in a warehouse environment.

This program is intended to create safety and health awareness to those working in a warehouse environment to eliminate if not reduce potential and existing hazards, especially from manual handling.
