PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF SABAH LABOUR ORDINANCE IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, 20 - 21 January 2025_ Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

INTRODUCTION

The Sabah Labour Ordinance (Cap. 67) serves as a foundational employment law that defines the minimum terms and conditions for employment in Sabah. As the economic landscape in Sabah evolves, it is increasingly vital for HR Professionals, managers, and supervisors to thoroughly understand this Ordinance and its practical implications.

This workshop enhances participants’ knowledge of the Sabah Labour Ordinance, enabling them to effectively navigate complex employment issues and maintain legal compliance. By fostering an environment of mutual respect and understanding between employers and employees, organizations can build a strong foundation for sustainable growth and industrial harmony in Sabah. Participants will also be exposed to the updates in the Labour Ordinance of Sabah (Amendment) Bill 2024, recently passed in Dewan Rakyat.
