E-INVOICING FOR EMPLOYMENT CLAIMS AND REIMBURSEMENTS IN HR GUIDELINES AND IMPLEMENTATION, 12 January 2026_Kota Kinabalu

INTRODUCTION

As Malaysia moves into nationwide e-Invoicing implementation under LHDN’s mandate, HR departments must rethink how they manage claims, benefits, allowances, reimbursements, and staff expenses. Beyond payroll, e-Invoicing directly affects how proof of expenses is collected, verified, stored, and submitted—requiring HR to work closely with Finance, IT, and employees to ensure compliance and avoid penalties or disallowed tax deductions.

This one-day practical program equips HR practitioners with the knowledge and tools to integrate e-Invoicing requirements into existing HR workflows. Participants will learn which HR transactions require e-Invoices, how employee purchases on behalf of the company should be documented, and what new internal controls and accountability measures must be introduced. Through guided exercises, policy drafting activities, and real-case discussions, HR teams will leave with clear, ready-to-use policies, SOPs, and implementation strategies that support organization-wide compliance.
