E-INVOICE ACCOUNTING IN BUSINESS OPERATION AND MAXIMIZING TAX ALLOWABLE EXPENSE DEDUCTIONS

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The application of E-invoice in accounting for income and cost is scheduled to be implemented in phases from 1st August 2024 onwards, is not solely a tax matter of about how much tax to pay or when to do your tax filing. Accounting for the Income and qualifying Cost for deduction is the centre stage of the implementation. It affects the entire organization and the Business Operation at large, such as Sales, Purchasing, HRM and all other operating staffs.

Hence this program is to provide the necessary content of e-invoice mechanism and to equip all Accounting and Other Operational Staffs on the organization’s requirement to implement e-invoice as per LHDN’s requirement.

The need to know when to issue an E-Invoice to customers to capture the revenue, when to issue self-bill invoice to capture the cost, when suppliers are not required to issue E-invoice, etc. are all essential knowledge and skills that all staffs in the organization’s accounting and other departments will need to know and possess.

At the same time organization is also required to be well verse on the different criterial and under what circumstances will the organization cost qualified as a deduction against its revenue, and how can we maximise such deduction under a given constraint and what capital allowance and building allowance can we claim annually

It is therefore essential that all the Accounting and other Operational function staffs, get equip with the E-Invoice mechanism and the maximization of the cost deduction against its income, in our daily Accounting and Business operation.
