Participants will:
- Learn how principles of communications apply to oral presentations.
- Structure information for two basic types of presentations.
- Design high-impact PowerPoint slides that support the message.
- Discuss the relative impact of body language, vocal tones and word choice upon the delivered message.
- Learn how the audience listens and adjust their presentations for audience needs.
- Apply techniques for overcoming stage fright and develop confidence in presenting
- Prepare and deliver presentations for videotaping so these may be discussed and analysed with the rest of the class.
