PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Companies may suffer loss from property damage and medical costs of the employee if they failed to manage the warehouse operations or distribution centers to control the hazards that may cause harm to their employees, customers, and business products.
This course provides participants with the information needed to manage health & safety risks in warehouse operations, which includes manual handling techniques;- when used correctly, will help prevent injury. This course will also assist in developing, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a system to identify potential improvements in WAREHOUSE SAFETY & MANUAL MATERIAL HANDLING.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of the course, the participants will be able to;
- Understand the warehouse process and its potential hazards and impact.
- Understand the laws governing warehouse management.
- Know the safe storage and handling of the management of hazardous chemicals or dangerous goods.
- Able to prepare and responds in event of an emergency.
