Boilers have is a crucial equipment for producing steam. Proper handling and maintenance is a must to ensure its optimum lifecycle as well as prevent losses of life and property. Therefore personnel handling boilers must be properly trained and competent to perform boiler management to avoid such incidences. This programme also provides guidance in boiler maintenance procedures. Overall the programme will escalate the knowledge base of participants to become better Operator and Technicians in their own plant.
The Certificate in Boilerman for Grade 2 or Grade 1 is a 2 day comprehensive course. The course is CF Learning Services continuous effort and commitment to upgrade the theoretical and hands on skills of the current workforce in handling Steam Boilers in several sectors. This course will provide the knowledge to upgrade the skills of Boiler Supervisors, Operators, Assistants and Apprentice on matters relating to Operations, Mountings & Fittings, Inspections and Maintenance of Boilers at the workplace.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS COURSE
Upskilling the knowledge and competency of current personnel handling steam boilers to Grade 1 or Grade 2 Certificate Holders
Accomplish a new level of thorough knowledge and skills related to boilers to increase work performance & productivity
Prepare and guide participants to sit for the Boilerman Grade 2 or Grade 1 Examinations conducted by Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan (JKKP/DOSH).
